Credit Union Week
The Police Credit Union first began its operations on October 12th 1956. This year we celebrate the month of October as Credit Union Month, Credit Union Week and our 58th Anniversary! **Hooray**
Ask yourself, 'What's the difference between Your Credit Union and a bank?'.
Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations, aiming to serve their members rather than to maximize corporate profits. Similar to commercial banks, we have loans, deposit and fixed accounts/ facilities.
BUT, as a member-owned & driven institution, we are committed to providing a safe place to save, borrow and earn at competitive rates. Unlike banks, credit unions return surplus income to their members in the form of dividends, low interest rates.
Join Us next week (13th - 17th October) as we celebrate our existence! Our members! Our Credit Union!
